Designs for God came about by imagining that all of creation has a hand in the Earth's creation. Especially angels who were at God's assistance to create our laws pf physics, systems, animals, geology, plant species. They would have had expertiese in many different fields. We can see thier creativity through their diverse and exotic creations. The painting itself evolved past this idea onto a more relaxed display of beautiful structures.
